REacting Theater Co-Founders

MARTINA DEMAIO is an Argentinian-born actor, dancer, model, and producer based in New York City.
Recent theatre: Prudence (LATEA Theatre), Mercy (A.R.T./NY), Mayonnaise Rizadas & Gatorade (La MaMa), Big Wave (The Tank), Polaroid Stories, Dance Nation, The Tempest, Winter’s Tale (Lester Martin Theatre), The Grönholm Method (CEFOA Theatre). Coming soon: Labyrinth, an original play by Julieta Timossi. On screen: Against All Odds (The Legend Productions), The World Between (NYFA), Return Daughter (Elephant Productions), Brothers Regret, No Forgiveness (Elephant Productions), Dreams in The Big City (BC), The Tank (short), Bagel (sitcom, Mary MacArthur Theater), Cockroach (sitcom, Mary MacArthur Theater), and Martina (lead).
Martina is developing original work including Who Does Your Laundry?, Written in the Stars, and the short film Dating. It’s Complicated. Her work blends comedy, movement, and emotional truth while exploring identity, love, and belonging. Clarita De Gennaro is a New York City-based actress from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She recently completed her acting conservatory at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has also trained in Argentina on Chubbuck Technique, Non-Method Acting and Stanislavsky-Strasberg approaches. Her recent theater credits include The House of Bernarda Alba (dir. Barbara Rubin), Emilia by Malcom Llyod Malcom (dir. loanna Katsarou), REacting ShortPlaySeries (actor and Producer) and original ensemble-devise work both in USA and Argentina. She loves portraying complex, passionate characters with fierce wills and emotional depth. Clarita is the co-founder of REacting Theater and is honored to be part of this production. ​She is a New York City-based actress from Lima, Peru. A recent graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she has also trained at the Stella Adler Studio (NY), the Lee Strasberg Institute (LA), CIC (Argentina), and the Roberto Ángeles Acting Conservatory (Perú). Her training spans a range of techniques including Adler, Strasberg, and Stanislavsky, shaping a grounded yet expressive performance style. Jimena's recent credits include Evil Lives Here (S10E13), Quadrilateral feature film (dir. Daniel Rodriguez Risco), The House of Bernarda Alba (dir. Barbara Rubin), Play On (dir. Susan Pilar), and Bootleg (dir.
Tidiane Diallo) Her work bridges classical and contemporary forms, often exploring the emotional contradictions of womanhood and identity. When not acting, she loves to read, swim and enjoy time in nature. She is the co-founder of REacting.
